Test ride a fat bike.
Fat bikes are fun on many types of terrain. They are great to ride in sand and snow, making them the perfect beach (or bunker) cruiser and a fun ride in packed snow. Come test out the latest models from Project Bike during Fat Bike Festival! We’ll have several courses set up on the driving range. Roll along grass and in and out of bunkers. You’ll quickly see why fat bikes have become so popular.
Snow conditions have been prime for fat biking in Central Oregon this year. Wanoga is one of our favorite snowy fat biking destinations.
Taste your favorite beer or discover a new one.
Beer and cocktail tastings are a traditional component of this fat bike event. We’ll have Deschutes Brewery, Worthy Brewing, Wild Ride Brewing, Avid Cider, Tito’s Vodka and Young’s Market whiskey with us this year. Just purchase a Silipint taster for $10 each at the entrance and then visit each canopy for a free, refreshing tasting. Along with your taster Silipint, you’ll also receive five raffle tickets. Be sure to check out the awesome prizes we have lined up this year. We’ll also have hot cocoa, coffee and tea to warm you up.
Warm up with s’mores by the bonfire.
After a few fat bike rides around the driving range, you’ll be ready for a treat by the fire. Grab a s’mores kit, head to the giant bonfire, and relax while taking in the scenic beauty that surrounds you at Pronghorn Resort. We’ll also have several small plate selections for purchase from our culinary team. Just look for the Pronghorn VW bus and food cart!
